The Danish Plastics Federation nominates Plus Pack-director for the Plastic Prize 2019
This year, Camilla Haustrup Hermansen, Director of Business Development at Plus Pack, is nominated for the Plastic Prize (Plastprisen) together with four other nominees.
Camilla Haustrup Hermansen has shown how to take responsibility for plastic food packaging. She is an active participant in the plastics debate and in the discussion towards more sustainable plastic food packaging. In addition, she contributed to projects like “From Philanthropy to Business” and the development of the “Danish Design Manual” Also, she writes a newspaper column to expand the public’s knowledge about packaging and circular economy.
The Plastic Prize is an award given by the Danish Plastics Federation. Every year since 1987, it is given to people, products, companies or institutions that have shown a leading performance in the Danish plastics industry.
“It is important that we as an industry put more focus on the positive stories about plastics, and I must say that there is a lot of stories to choose from among the nominees”, says Executive Director at the Danish Plastics Federation, Thomas Drustrup, and continues: “I would like to wish the five nominees, who contribute to this in their own unique way, good luck”.
The Plastic Prize 2019 award ceremony will take place on the anniversary of the Danish Plastics Federation on May 23rd 2019 at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen.
